Kidsville Ministries of the Rincon Church of God will kick-off the Christmas season when they present “Little Drummer Boy.” The musical will be presented in the church’s main sanctuary at 7 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

"Little Drummer Boy" is the story of Michael, the drummer in the school band.

As the students get ready for the Christmas parade, Michael insists on doing his own thing, and marching to the beat of his own drum.

With the help of the new music teacher, Mrs. Newman, and a kindly janitor, Mr. Jenkins, Michael learns that we’re all God’s instruments used for His glory. In the end, Michael learns to march to the beat of a different drummer and plays his best for the Lord.

Under the direction of Children’s Music Director Amanda Bunce and Children’s Pastor Daniel Bunce, this cast of more than 40 children ages 3 to 12 will get you in the yuletide spirit and make this an event you’ll not want to miss.
