Rincon Church of God to hold back to school bash

Kidsville Ministries of the Rincon Church of God is hosting a Back to School Bash set for Aug. 4-7. 
 
The event begins Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. and events will be each night through Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. Events on Aug. 7 begin at 1 p.m. Children ages 5-12 are invited to attend each night. Children ages 3 and 4 are also welcome with parental supervision. The event is free and open to the public.
 
The ministry team of Kidsville will be featured on Wednesday and Thursday night. Led by children’s pastor Rev. Daniel Bunce, the night will include games, kid-led praise and worship music, character skits and a gospel message specifically geared for kids.
 
Friday and Saturday’s services will feature a worship concert by Tony Sutherland, the children’s worship pastor at Free Chapel Worship Center in Gainesville, where Jentezen Franklin is the senior pastor. Sutherland is an accomplished songwriter having written songs for artists such as CeCe Winans, The Katinas, Mandisa, Phillips-Craig and Dean, Bishop Paul Morton, David and Nichole Binion, Ashmont Hill, Daryl Coley, Myron Butler, Ron Kenoly, Calvin Nowell and Mylon LeFever in addition to his band KP7.
 
The church is located on Highway 21 just north of Rincon.
