The Women of the E.L.C.A. Ebenezer Cluster Spring Meeting was held at Jerusalem Lutheran Church on April 24. The cluster region consists of all E.L.C.A. Lutheran Churches from Augusta to  Brunswick. This year’s theme, which is also the annual convention theme, is Wind of the Spirit.

A program was presented on Building a Butterfly Garden by Lauren Boyken of the Screven County Extension Office.  Pastor Barb Koch of Zion Lutheran Church led the afternoon worship service. During the meeting, officers were elected and installed by Pastor Barb. Cheryl Pannal of Zion was elected as Cluster Leader.   Julie Barichivich of Jerusalem was elected Cluster Recorder.

Pat Cunningham of St. Paul ‘s Lutheran (Savannah) was elected Member at Large. The annual convention this year will be held Sept. 10-12 in Marietta. This is a time of spiritual renewal and refreshment, a sharing of resources, and good fun, as well as conducting the business of the organization. All women who are members of the ELCA are automatically members of the Women of the E.L.C.A, and are invited to attend.
