Kissy! Kiss! Kiss! It’s time again for saying those three little words... “I love you!” But now, say it with food, wine and jazz. And even better yet, with the Savannah Stompers: Savannah’s premier good time band.

The SSJB was formed in 1995. Their traditional jazz sound ranges from New Orleans, Chicago and Memphis to the West Coast Revival movement of the late ’30s and early ’40s. The members are from varied walks of life, including a practicing architect, a pharmaceutical sales rep, and a Savannah School District band director.

Recently Disney Studios contacted the SSJB and ask them to perform some tunes and be filmed for the new Miley Cyrus movie, The Last Song.” Subsequently, SSJB recorded seven tunes to be considered for the film.

So, if you decide to catch the Cyrus film, look hard at the wedding reception scene. You might catch a glimpse of seven happy go lucky jazz players.

In the meantime, come enjoy some great traditional jazz with the Savannah Stompers Jazz Band.
