Richard and Teresa Burchette announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Nicole Burchette of Rincon, to Jonathan Ryan Griffin of Rincon, son of Fred and Karen Griffin.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed with day surgery at Memorial University Medical Center.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Lawrence and Katherine Shea. He is employed by Custom Metal Works as a mechanical engineer.

The wedding is scheduled for April 10, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Springfield at 4:30 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Rollins, the bride-elect’s uncle, officiating. A reception will be held at the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum in Pooler.
