Mr. and Mrs. James E. Maddox Jr. of Faulkville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Marie Maddox to Justin Wendell Saturday, son of Mrs. Tammy Saturday of Meldrim and the late R. Keith Saturday.

The bride-elect is the great granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Carter of Garden City and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Groover of Savannah. Julie is a 2004 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2006 graduate of Savannah School of Cosmetology. She is employed with One Cut Above in Savannah.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Saturday of Meldrim. Justin is a 2004 graduate of South Effingham High School and is employed with Reynolds and Robin Law Firm in Savannah.

Their wedding is planned for May 5 at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Garden City.
