Dr. and Mrs. Benton C. Martin of Springfield are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Brooks Martin, to Frank Schley Knight III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schley Knight Jr. and the late Dr. Deborah Fulmer and Mr. Joseph Roberts of Savannah.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Sam Carico of Coral Gables, Fla., and Mrs. Betty Martin and the late Frank Caldow Martin of Lyons. She is a 2005 graduate of Effingham County High School. She will be graduating from Georgia Tech in May with a degree in industrial engineering.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schley Knight and Dr. and Mrs. William Fulmer. He is a 2004 graduate of Savannah Country Day School. He will be graduating from Georgia Tech in May with a degree in electrical engineering.

The wedding is planned for May 30 at 3 p.m. at Springfield United Methodist Church. Family and friends are invited to attend.
