Exchange Club learns about help for homeless families in Effingham

At the Exchange Club of Effingham County’s Dec. 1 meeting, Dr. Jackie Brown (school social worker and  Homeless Liaison for Effingham County Schools) spoke to the club abouther work over the last 10 years with families who were homeless or on the brink of being homeless.

Mrs. Ruby Andrews, Homeless Liaison Assistant for Effingham County Schools, also spoke about the challenges that so many families face on a daily basis.

Dr. Brown and Mrs. Andrews demonstrated their commitment to helping underserviced and impoverished families.
