The Effingham County Rebel cheerleaders hosted a Little Rebels Cheer Camp this week with more than 60 girls from pre-k to eighth grade attending. The varsity cheerleaders managed the entire camp, from choosing their age groups, choreographing dances, teaching jumps, stunts, tumbling cheers, and even some new games.

The Little Rebels will show off their pep skills before game time Sept. 10. The camp along with a competition hosted by ECHS are the main fundraisers that help the squad pay for their competitions and, as coach Katie Ward said, it show “community involvement as well as being a great mentoring opportunity.”
