The timer starts when the man quickly twists and turns the cube for about 15 seconds in what appears like efforts to memorize the position of all 54 squares on the 9-by-9 cube. He then pulls on his blindfold and gets to work, solving the cube in about 28 seconds. Thats right, the whole process takes under 45 seconds. - photo by Martha Ostergar
CUBE CORNER I know we at Have You Seen This? often say that something will blow your mind or amaze you, but sometimes that is all we can say when a video shows a personally incomprehensible feat.

Speed is the name of the game in modern Rubiks Cube solving, unless the solver has a photographic memory. Then the name of the game is speed while blindfolded. And yes, it will amaze you.

This video, published in 2014 but currently on a viral trajectory, shows an unnamed man at a seemingly legitimate Rubiks Cube competition.

Dont worry, I didnt spoil anything by telling you the outcome. The sheer awesomeness of the video will make your jaw drop. Its one thing for this man to memorize where the squares are, but its another to memorize where they are and keep track of the pattern as he solves the cube.
