Kid President Robby Novak recently sat down with actor Tom Hanks to discuss important questions, have a straw war and even learn moves from Silento's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" music video.
After he mistakenly called the actor "Tim Honks," Kid President learned what it takes to be a hero in SoulPancake's most recent video.
Eleven-year-old Robby asked Hanks, the star of the new film "Bridge of Spies," to define the term "hero." Hanks said a hero is "someone who voluntarily walks into harm's way."
The actor also said that performing small acts of kindness such as "cutting somebody some slack" or "returning something that was lost" can make anyone a hero.
"At the end of the day, we are always looking for the best version of ourselves," Hanks said during the interview.
Kid President awarded Hanks a solid 100 on the interview and ended with an apology for mispronouncing the actor's name.
Brad Montague, Robby's brother-in-law, began filming the Kid President videos in July 2012, according to kidpresident.com.
"I have been working to create things in an effort to help shape the way kids see the world and the way the world sees kids," Montague wrote on kidpresident.com. "This was just a continuation of that work."
