Brooke Pevey was crowned Miss Breast Cancer Awareness on Sept. 24.

Pevey is the 19-year-old daughter of Terrell and Dana Pevey of Springfield. Pevey attends Georgia Southern University where she is a sophomore and studying for a career in finance.

The pageant was held at the W.W. Mann Center in Statesboro.

She proudly holds this title to help support a cure for breast cancer.
