State issues recall for blackberry yogurt

Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to the recall of a Canadian yogurt that has walnuts and plums not listed as ingredients.

Liberté Brand Products, St Hubert, Quebec, Canada, recalls all Liberté Méditerranée Wild Blackberry Yogourt, packaged in 6-ounce. retail plastic cups.  The product, distributed nationally in the U.S., has the UPC code 0 65684 65434 5 and the Sept 02 expiration date printed on the foil lid.

Those who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. Consumers with questions or those with the product who would like a refund can contact Liberté Brand Products at 1-888-340-9306, ext. 0 or by e-mail at info@liberte.ca.
