The United Way-Effingham Service Center needs adult volunteers to prepare income tax forms and electronically file them for low income families. Training is being provided this month at the service center.

Tax Wise software will be used. You can donate as much or as little time as you can. The program begins in January and concludes in April.

You do not have volunteer the entire length of the program but participants are asked to agree to lend a hand for a couple of weeks during the program’s duration.
