Another refinery burn patient goes home

The Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta said Tuesday that one of its Imperial Sugar Company patients has been discharged from the Burn Center and is receiving further treatment in the Doctors Hospital Rehab Unit. 

Of the eight remaining burn patients from the Feb. 7 explosion at Imperial Sugar’s Port Wentworth refinery, three are listed in critical condition, one in serious condition, one in fair condition and three in good condition.

The name of the patient discharged has not been released.
