Students from every elementary, middle and high school in Effingham County participated in the Special Olympics Friday at South Effingham High School.
Ribbons were awarded to the top finishers in each event. More importantly, the approximately 300 athletes personified the Special Olympics oath, “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
