Family Promise of Effingham County held a fundraiser golf tournament Saturday at Lost Plantation Golf Course, raising more than $4,000 to help homeless families in Effingham.

Twenty-eight golfers took part, with first place won by a team sponsored by Neidlinger Logging. The members of the the winning team were Ricky Neidlinger, Scott Harper, Dennis Miller and Sean Allen.

Event chairs were Jean Vaught and David Harris.
