More than 3,500 people attended the Effingham Chamber's annual two-day Oktoberfest, held at Rincon's Freedom Park.

A late afternoon storm doused the event-ending headlining act of Josh Sanders. Two to Fly, the winner of the battle of the bands, was scheduled to open for Sanders before the storms washed out the conclusion.
