ATLANTA — A Rincon woman is pumped about winning the lottery.

Carol Leger played the Georgia Lottery instant game Win It All and won a $50,000 top prize.

Leger, 49, stopped for gas at Rincon Country Store when she purchased her ticket.

“I was about to faint,” she said.

She and her husband Glen plan to pay off bills.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $10.1 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.

More than 1.1 million students have received HOPE, and more than 940,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
