Wednesday’s fire at the Methodist Campground in Springfield has been determined to be arson.

“We are investigating an act of arson,” Springfield Police Chief Paul Wynn said.

He said the police department has investigated a couple of suspects and is currently following leads to determine who set the fire.

Wynn said fliers have been put up for a reward for information from the state fire marshal’s office.

Dan Mealor of the insurance and safety fire commissioner’s arson unit said the reward is up to $10,000.
Wynn said any one with information should call 1-800-282-5804.
