Effingham County Schools Superintendent Dr. Randy Shearouse said everything possible is being done to clear the air about a situation in the band room at South Effingham High School.
During the first week of school last month, a substance believed to be mold was found on band uniforms stored in a room adjacent to the area where the musicians practice.
“We’re doing a lot of renovation down at the band room,” Shearouse said Thursday.
