The Effingham Hospital Board of Trustees voted that Effingham Hospital will initiate a new tobacco free workforce campaign for the benefit and better health of every employee at the hospital.

The initial kickoff of this tobacco free workforce program will begin on Nov. 20, on the same day as the start of The Great American Smoke-Out.

This unique program is designed with a sincere desire to ensure the “good health” of all of its employee family and the vital part they play in healthcare, hospital officials said.
