Starting Sept. 6, this fall’s 12-week Certificate in Professional HR Management class in Savannah provides an in-depth study of key areas in human resources.

While open to anyone, this exam-prep course helps HR professionals planning to certify as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior PHR through the December-January certification exam.

Georgia Southern University’s 36-hour course will meet at the Coastal Georgia Center, 6-9 p.m., Mondays, Sept. 6 to Nov. 21. The first class session is a Tuesday due to the Labor Day holiday.

In addition to homework-reading and classroom review of the six training modules, the class includes frequent quizzes in the classroom and online, exclusive additional study aids through the online Resource Center, and a syllabus designed for successful retention of course contents.
