When did work — and life — get so stressful? From front-office receptionist to line-foreman, no one in modern America has a stress-free work life.
On Aug. 3, Georgia Southern University’s Continuing Education Center offers a 2-hour, skills-packed seminar for the overwhelmed, the over-busy, and anyone else needing help with workplace issues.
“Work Smarter: Managing Stress in the Workplace” will run 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Nessmith-Lane Continuing Education building on campus in Statesboro.
Space is limited, so registration is on a first-come-first serve basis.
Presenter Jewel Daniels is the author of “It Takes Tenacity, 15 Power Moves to Survive the Wilderness and Weather the Economic Storm.”
Her seminar topics will include how to effectively reduce stress, choose positive options to react to stress, and examine individual and group solutions to stressful circumstances.
Registration for the $55 seminar closes at noon, July 30. To register, call the University’s Continuing Education Center at (912) 478-5551 or visit
