Johnson joins Spine and Sport

Spine and Sport welcomes new certified personal trainer Billy Johnson. Johnson has a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University with an emphasis in exercise programming and recreation. He has 12 years of fitness experience and specialized sports training. He has trained clients from high school through professional athletes for many different sports.  

Johnson works with a variety of clients of all ages and abilities, including people with Parkinson’s symptoms, fibromyalgia and those with other unique training needs. He is also a well respected trainer of bodybuilders and successful young athletes.

Johnson has played collegiate and professional football. He has logged over 15,000 hours of training athletes during his career in strength and conditioning. During this time, he has trained well over 1,000 high school and college athletes from various sports. This includes all-state and all-American performers in football, baseball, wrestling, basketball, track and field, lacrosse and hockey. Spine and Sport is proud to be adding such a talented asset to the company.

Spine and Sport is a company which offers physical therapy, personal training and weight management programs. The physical therapists are board certified clinical specialists and/or have advanced certifications in treatment of spinal pathology. All of Spine and Sport’s personal trainers are certified by nationally recognized fitness associations. The business is open 7 a.m.-8 p.m., offers easy to schedule appointments and has convenient locations in Effingham and Wilmington Island and Richmond Hill.
