County installs online ticket payment

In a move to conserve resources and add efficiencies, Superior Court Clerk Elizabeth Hursey has spearheaded a program to add online payment to the list of services available for traffic offenses in Effingham County.

The Web site www.effinghamtickets.com went live on March 11 and is linked in multiple directions and through Web site options at the clerk’s offices. Paperwork once considered time consuming is now completed from the home or office by logging onto the Internet.

Citizens can spend less than two minutes providing the data necessary to determine minor offense and traffic fine amounts and have the funds and information instantly transmitted securely to the court.
