ECSO arrests suspected repeat meth offender

A repeat offender is back behind bars and a meth lab has been seized following a search warrant conducted by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Drug Suppression Unit.

Late Monday afternoon, deputies located a methamphetamine lab along with a quantity of methamphetamine at a residence on Indica Place in Effingham County.

 

 

 

Richard Driggers Jr., 38, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of tools during the commission of a crime. Driggers was out on bond from an arrest last December where he was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon along with other charges.

 

 

Investigators said additional arrests are expected as this is an ongoing investigation
