Effingham County Sheriff's Office Drug Suppression Unit investigators have arrested a Springfield woman for selling drugs out of her residence while small children were living with her.

Yolanda Garvin, 27, of Mockingbird Drive, was arrested after investigators conducted a search warrant of her home Thursday afternoon. Investigators found several bags of marijuana and other drug-related objects.

Garvin has been charged with cruelty to children in the first degree, the sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana more than one ounce, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

Garvin is being held in the Effingham County Jail, and sheriff's deputies expect more arrests.
