SPRINGFIELD -- Starting Wednesday, Effingham County will proceed with its scheduled roadway repairs of Courthouse Extension. The repairs could go through Saturday.

The road will be closed to all traffic except residents and emergency vehicles during the hours it’s being paved. The paving will take place between 7 a.m., and 5:30 p.m. If you live on the road you will be able to gain access. All other traffic will need to find an alternate route.

Other roadway repairs scheduled include:

April 9 --  Mill Pond Road, Lexington Avenue, Chase Drive

April 16 -- Whitaker Road, Lower Ferry Road, Bethany Road, Indigo Road

April 26 -- S. Laurel Circle, Center Drive, Pine Drive, Exley Road
