A sampling of Effingham Herald readers have filled out a survey about the newspaper in the past two weeks and Quent Mikeal now has a $100 Visa gift card to show for his participation.

Mikeal's name was picked at random from the people who have answered the 10-minute survey.

Using the services of a professional researcher, we are asking subsribers and non-subscribers to participate in a survey that we hope will help us gauge more precisely your opinions about the Effingham Herald, what we cover, our community at-large and some other general questions. And all of you who do will be entered into a drawing for a second $100 Visa gift card.

The more responses we get will give us a larger sample audience offering their opinions on what they like, don't like and what they think will improve the Effingham Herald.

So, please fill out the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/EffinghamSurvey. And once you have clicked the "submit" button, you will be entered into the second drawing for a $100 Visa card.

We are looking to improve the Effingham Herald and make the content we provide more important in your everyday lives. Your filling out the survey will give us some better ideas on how to do that.

Thanks, in advance.
