U.S. Rep John Barrow (D-Savannah) has announced new dates and times for when his staff will be available to help 12th District residents resolve issues with government agencies.
“Folks shouldn’t have to travel a long distance to reach your Congressman and get the help you need,” Barrow said. “My responsibilities in Washington mean that I can’t be in the district as much as I’d like. That’s why I have members of my staff hold regular office hours in all 22 counties of our district. Anyone who has any kind of problem can stop by, and you never need an appointment.”
Barrow’s staff is trained to help 12th District residents with a variety of issues with federal agencies, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Internal Revenue Service, Medicare, Social Security Administration, USDA, and others.
A member of Barrow’s staff will be at the following locations and times:
Effingham County Annex
768 Highway 119 South
Fourth Wednesday of every month, 1-3 p.m.
Guyton City Hall
310 Central Blvd.
Third Tuesday of every month, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Rincon City Hall
302 Columbia Ave.
Third Tuesday of every month, 12:30-1:30 p.m.
