Rafter, Exley selected for hospital trustee board

Richard R. Rafter and Tommy Exley  have been selected as the newest members of the Effingham Hospital Board of Trustees.

Rafter, selected for the 3rd District, is an attorney with the firm Ratchford & Rafter, LLP and received his business degree from the University of South Florida and law degree from John Marshall Law School.

His civic activities include serving on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Effingham and considerable involvement with St. Boniface Catholic Church. He and his wife Debbie live near Clyo.  

Exley, selected for the 4th District, received his degree in business from the University of Georgia, is the owner of Goshen Tie and Chip Co. and his civic activities include membership in the Lions Club, Rotary Club, Jaycees and he is a member of Springfield Baptist Church.

He and his wife Bebe are currently residing in Springfield.  

The next meeting of the Effingham Hospital Board will be on Jan. 8.
