South Effingham girls maintain perfection

GUYTON -- It's a "Sweet 16" for South Effingham's girls tennis team.

The Lady Mustangs dominated Harris County in the first round of the Class AAAAA playoffs Tuesday, winning every match in straight sets. It was their 16th team win this season without a loss.

Singles winners were Kaaresetyn Bargeron, Mallori Jenkins and Kayla Rogers. The doubles victors were Makenzie Denison-Grace Brantley and Mia Vasher-Deanna Gunnels

South Effingham will host a second-round match next week.
