A Taste of Effingham hits the spot

SPRINGFIELD - A large crowd turned out for Friday's A Taste of Effingham, an annual food-tasting event sponsored by the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce.

The evening concluded with a One Stop Pony Band concert in the Mars Theatre. Lead singer Brian La Blanc imitated several stars, including Billy Joel, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Jimmy Buffett., Neil Diamond on more.
