SPRINGFIELD -- Love One Another, a diverse group of Effingham County and other community organizations, conducted a National Day of Prayer Service at Springfield Elementary School on Thursday. Originally slated to occur at Effingham County Middle School, the event featured about 75 worshipers who prayed about more than a dozen topics, including the body of Christ (the church), families, government leaders, military personnel and educators.
