A thanks to hospital, doctors

Dear Editor,

On Friday, Oct. 30, I presented at the Effingham Hospital emergency room with chest pain. I was immediately triaged and moved into the trauma area for an expedient cardiac care response to my symptoms.

The doctor diagnosed me as having acute myocardial infarctions, which was explained that I was having a heart attack. I was subsequently treated by Dr. James Gainer at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. Because of the efficient delivery of care at Effingham Hospital, I am alive today.

I want to thank Dr. Demetrios Tsoulos and the nurses at the Effingham Hospital emergency room for quickly diagnosing and treating my chest pain.
