Dear Editor,

The FORCE (Food Out Reach Co-op of Effingham) program would like to thank the U.S. Postal Service and the Effingham community for the food drive, “Stamp Out Hunger.”

It was a great success, which helped supply our local food pantries. Since the beginning of the year, our food pantries have served over 800 families. Food drives such as this help supply our pantries with food for families in need. The food drive, “Stamp Out Hunger” collected over 10,000 pounds of food.
