Dear Editor,

I would like to say a special thank you to the owner and employees at Baibry’s Coffee and Cafe.

Recently a good friend passed away and on very short notice, less then two hours, they were able to put food together to take to the family.  The tray was perfect for the situation and was ready so quick that it was the first thing there when there was nothing available.

It is so nice to live in a place like Effingham were everyone bonds together to take care of everyone else. Even the local businesses.
Baibry’s has taken the suggestions of the local people and put each one to use. They have even started opening Sundays for everyone to come by after church, offering discounts to anyone who brings that day’s church bulletin in, and also discounts to other local groups and businesses that come by.

I have never seen a sour face or heard an unfriendly voice when there.

It’s always clean and hospitable. I am proud to say I live in a community that takes care of each other. Baibry’s is a testament to hometown hospitality and friendliness.
