Values will still matter to plenty of voters

Dear Editor,

For months the talking heads have been telling us that values-voters will play little or no role in this coming election.  Yet, as we approach the first test of the election season, “front runner” Gov. Romney finds himself compelled to speak directly to the faith voters, and an under-funded Baptist preacher from Arkansas is making a surge in the polls.

I trust Rudy, Hillary, and all other candidates are listening and learning that values-voters represent a significant portion of the electorate and cannot be dismissed.
