Josh Reddick (Boston Red Sox) — Reddick is 6-for-35 (.171) in 19 Grapefruit League games for the Sox. He’s tied for the team lead in home runs (2) and leads the team in RBIs (8) during Grapefruit League play.

Matt Rahn (Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College) — Rahn is a freshman first baseman for the Golden Stallions (10-15). He is 1-for-9 with one RBI.

John Roberts (Armstrong Atlantic State University) — A catcher and designated hitter, Roberts has not cooled off, raising his average to .417 after going 7-for-13 against Lander. He also leads the team in RBIs with 37 and in homers with four. The Pirates, ranked No. 12 in the nation among Division II teams, are 21-4 overall and 5-1 in the Peach Belt Conference after a three-game sweep of Lander.

Roberts was named the Peach Belt player of the week Monday and has a 15-game hitting streak. He also leads the Peach Belt in slugging percentage (.680).

Joseph Snooks (AASU) — Snooks has two strikeouts in one scoreless inning of work.

Jesse Osborne (AASU) — Osborne is a junior right-handed pitcher for the Pirates.

Chris Zittrouer (AASU) — A sophomore first/third baseman, Zittrouer is hitting .346 with two homers and 14 RBIs.

Stephen Proctor (Centre College) — A senior first baseman, Proctor is hitting .289 with three doubles and one home run for the Colonels (6-12).

Shelby Duff (Armstrong Atlantic State University) —Duff is hitting .354 with nine doubles, three home runs and 28 RBIs. In the circle, she is 4-2 with 27 strikeouts in 49 innings, having posted a 2.86 ERA for the No. 24-ranked Pirates (20-4).

Tabby Douberly (Georgia Southern University) — Doublerly is hitting .207 with a homer and nine RBIs for the Eagles (13-17, 5-1 SoCon).

Marie Fogle (Georgia Southern University) — A junior centerfielder, Fogle had an impressive series against Western Carolina. She homered in each of the first two games and then hit two homers, one a grand slam, and drove in six runs in Sunday’s finale. She has 10 home runs, leading the SoCon, and 20 RBIs with a .394 batting average, topping the Eagles in all three categories.

For the second time this season, Fogle was named the Southern Conference player of the week.

Megen Smith (Georgia Southern University) — A senior, Smith has six home runs and 18 RBIs, hitting .274. In the circle, she is 1-4 with 23 strikeouts in 41 2/3 innings and an ERA of 6.22.

Katie Rietkovich (University of Georgia) —Rietkovich is a redshirt freshman infielder for Georgia, and is 1-for-2 in two games for the No. 1-ranked Bulldogs (23-4).

Autumn Whitfield (Andrew College) — Whitfield is 3-for-11 in five games for the Lady Tigers, who are 1-9 on the season.

Jamie Ray (South Georgia College) — Ray is hitting .310 with two home runs for the Tigers (8-19).

Kayla Calhoun (Waycross College) — Calhoun is a freshman for the Swamp Foxes, who are 11-14.
