Lady Mustangs trample Lady Wildcats with six late runs

South Effingham (5-1. 2-0) exploded for six runs in their final at-bat to drub Richmond Hill 8-3 in their Region 2-AAAAAA opener at Richmond Hill on Thursday.

Coming off a one-hit victory against Southeast Bulloch, Bailey Kendziorski handcuffed the Lady Wildcats, limiting them to three hits while notching six strikeouts.

Alex Brown led the Lady Mustangs' eight-hit attack with two safeties, including a double. Kendziorski, Chloe Turner and Whitney Thompson also belted extra-base hits.

Kendziorski had two RBI to lead her team.
