South Effingham stops football activities after positive tests

GUYTON -- COVID-19 concerns  have resulted in the interruption of  football activities at South Effingham High School.

Athletic Director Jeff Faith announced Friday that a trio of Mustangs recently tested positive for the virus..

"At this time, the athletic department will be postponing all football-related activities until further notice," Faith said in a news release. 

Faith reminded South Effingham students and supporters to abide by social distancing guidelines.

"SEHS and the athletic office have always had the safety and well-being of our student athletes and the community as a top priority," Faith said.
