ACWORTH -- South Effingham and Allatoona split a doubleheader Tuesday in their best-of-three series in the second round of the Class AAAAAA state baseball championships.

South (23-11) won the first game 5-3 then dropped the nightcap 7-1.

SEHS and Allatoona will play their third and deciding game today at 4:30 p.m.
