The 8-and-under and 10-and-under all-star football teams for Effingham County Recreation and Parks recently competed in the annual Rebel Bowl, held in Garden City.

The 8U all-stars, coached by Eric Brazell, beat Bloomingdale 26-0.

The 10U all-stars, coached by Bill Herrington, beat Richmond Hill 12-6.

The two teams are comprised of the best players in their respective age groups, nominated by their regular-season coaches. They have been practicing together for only a few weeks.
