The Effingham County High School Hall of Fame inducted five new members Saturday night.
They are, in alphabetical order, Eddie Dotson, Charlie Green Jr., Todd Kirby, Randy Rountree and Marla Kessler Tant.
Dotson (class of 1976) was a two-time all-state and two-time high school all-American selection. He also set the school record for receptions.
Green, a 1969 alum of Central High School, rushed for more than 1,300 yards and won two Gold Helmet awards.
Kirby (class of 1989) was the baseball team MVP twice and was the championship series MVP for Kennesaw State in the NAIA national championship.
Rountree (class of 1970) averaged 19 points and 16 rebounds as a senior and was most valuable player in the NAIA tournament.
Tant (class of 1966) was a four-year letterwinner and most valuable player as a senior.
