GUYTON -- South Effingham's girls tennis team upped its record to 7-0 with Wednesday's 4-1 victory over St. Vincent's.
Mallori Jenkins led South Effingham at No. 1 singles, beating Alexis Salgueiro 6-4, 6-1, Kayla Rogers won her No. 2 singles match 6-0, 6-0 over Anna Hogan.
St. Vincent's lone win came at No. 3 singles as Abby Hohnerlein topped Grace Brantley 6-2, 6-0.
In doubles, South Effingham's Mackenzie Dennison/Deanna Gunnels and Hannah Sowers/Mia Vasher won easily.
In boys action, St. Vincent's prevailed 3-2 by sweeping the singles matches.
South Effingham's wins came from Nick Walbert/Tommy Shapley and MIguel Rodriguez/Waylon Callaway in doubles.
