Shelby Duff and the Georgia Mustangs are still alive in the USA/ASA 16 and under Nationals. Duff and her South Effingham Angels' teammates Sally Faircloth and Katie Rietkovich are taking part in the softball championship tournament. Faircloth's Georgia Impact team and Rietkovich's Georgia Knockouts had their elimination game held up by rain.

The Georgia Knockouts and the Georgia Impact are battling it out to see who stays alive in the USA/ASA 16 and under A Nationals softball championship tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The Knockouts and Impact were relegated to the loser's bracket and rain suspended their matchup with the Impact leading 7-4 in the top of the fifth inning.
