Ryan Frederick (GSU) — Frederick didn’t get the win but he struck out two over 2 2/3 innings Sunday in his first start in two seasons as the Eagles routed Georgia 18-4. Frederick allowed two earned runs on four hits and three walks.
Eric Knox (Georgia Tech) — Knox is a freshman outfielder for the Yellow Jackets, who are 1-2. Georgia Tech visits Georgia Southern on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Jesse Whaley (Andrew College) — Whaley has pitched in two games for the Tigers, going 0-1 with three earned runs on three walks in 1 2/3 innings.
Andrew Martin (East Georgia State College) — Martin is 1-0, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks in four innings of his first start this season for the Bobcats (4-0).
Spencer Harvey (Middle Georgia State College) — Harvey is 1-for-5 with two RBIs in two games for the Knights, who are 6-2.
