Josh Reddick (Oakland Athletics) — Reddick went back on the disabled list Sunday after his right knee flared up, hurting it again in Saturday’s game against the Miami Marlins. Reddick was off to a fast start in his return from his previous DL stint, going 5-for-11 with a triple and two runs batted in. He was 3-for-5 Friday night and had a hit in his only at-bat Saturday before coming out of the game.

Reddick is hitting .229 with four homers and 24 RBIs on the season. He has three doubles and four triples.


JB Wendelken (Winston-Salem Dash) — Wendelken had back-to-back rough outings, giving up four runs on nine hits in six innings against Lynchburg, and then yielding six earned runs on nine hits and two walks over 4 1/3 innings against Carolina. For the year, he is 5-6 with a 4.33 earned run average. In 89 1/3 innings, he has struck out 69 and walked only 18. He has given up 108 hits.
