South Effingham's baseball team moved a season-high six games over .500 Monday with a 4-0 pasting of Wayne County's Yellow Jackets in Jesup.

The Mustangs (17-11, 8-2)) got all their runs in the fourth inning. Chase Warren drove in three with a homer. Brice Oglesby and Jakob Valleroy were on base at the time.

Two batters later, Devin Stefanski smacked the ball over the fence in left field.

Each team collected only four hits. Winning pitcher Hunter Morgan allowed two in his five innings. Josh Berg also allowed two in two frames.

Morgan and Berg combined to log 10 strikeouts.
